Ceretto is a Piedmontese producer of high-quality Barolo and Barbaresco. Founded by Ricardo Ceretto in 1930, it is famous for being a pioneer of the trend toward single-varietal Barolo wines. This wine shines in its garnet hue, evident in its consistency and compactness of excellent quality, one notices an intense, ethereal and extremely refined bouquet, with nuances of withered flowers, red fruit and spicy hints. When tasted, it immediately reveals itself enveloping and full-bodied, characterized by a perfect balance between fine tannins and the roundness of the fruit, embellished with a freshness and a sinuous elegance that are the distinctive signature of Barbaresco.
