Barbaresco comes from the vineyards of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive, expressing the typical elegance of Nebbiolo. The vintage was characterized by a mild and rainfall-rich winter, which ensured excellent water reserves. After a regular spring, the summer was distinguished by balanced temperatures and thunderstorms between June and July. Temperature swings during the harvest, which took place Oct. 11-14, ensured an excellent crop, with perfectly ripe and balanced grapes. After destemming and crushing, the must macerated for 8 days at 30°C, completing malolactic fermentation by winter. Aging for a year in oak barrels gave the wine harmony and smoothness. It has a deep garnet red color, complex aromas of red fruits and spices, and a full, velvety taste with a lingering aftertaste.
