Dolcetto d'Alba - 2002 - Andrea Oberto
In the 1950s, a farmer from the Langhe founded a winery in La Morra. After his father's death, Andrea Oberto took over the business, transforming it into a renowned wine producer with 14 hectares of vineyards and a production of 80,000 bottles per year. This Dolcetto has an intense red color with bright purple reflections, and offers suggestive vegetal sensations of green wood and delicate hints of small fruits on the nose. In the mouth it is warm, with a significant alcoholic presence but surprisingly balanced and easy to drink. The good acidity guarantees a satisfying taste and smell experience, with a persistence that leaves subtle notes of sweet almonds in the mouth.
