Vino Nobile di Montepulciano - 1988 - Poderi Boscarelli
Poderi Boscarelli is a renowned Tuscan wine producer based in the village of Cervognano di Montepulciano, located east of Montepulciano. Founded in 1962 by Egidio Corradi, the estate is mainly dedicated to the production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. This Vino Nobile has a distinctive composition, comprising mainly 85 percent Sangiovese, with minor additions of Colorino, Canaiolo and Mammolo. It is the oldest Vino Nobile label, representative and emblematic of Poderi Boscarelli's philosophy. Since its debut in 1968, this wine has consistently made up about half of the winery's production; its composition and aging process have remained largely unchanged over the years, with a current production of about 50,000 bottles. Poderi Boscarelli's Vino Nobile is distinguished by its freshness, elegance, complexity and remarkable aging potential.
