Refosco - 2002 - Le Vigne di Zamò
From the top of the Rosazzo hill, where Zamò's vineyards are based, a wide swath of eastern Friuli is overlooked, reaching as far as the sea with the eye... It seems almost natural that the vines here bear their best fruit. The grapes are harvested ripe enough to yield important reds and savory, soft whites, yet without losing the fruitiness and freshness that are typical characteristics of Friulian wines.
