Faugéres - 1999 - Capittel
This wine shows a deep purple color. The aromas are reminiscent of Mediterranean character with blackberry, garrigue, thyme and some herbaceous spice. The palate is rich and fresh with some mint and great length on the finish. The Laugé family named this new cuvée "Vintage" to highlight both the tradition and modernity of the wine. In French, the word "tradition" is used to designate old products that have excellent style and quality. They wanted to bring a modern character and an international name, open to the world and understood by all wine lovers.
