"The 1969 Dom Pérignon is fabulous. Aromatically, this bottle is perhaps slightly advanced, but the wine's internal sweetness and textural depth more than compensate for this detail. In the glass, the 1969 is ample, creamy and incredibly inviting. Notes of orange peel, Catalan cream, hazelnut and honey reveal themselves in this super expressive Champagne. The bubbles have largely dissolved and yet all the elements are impeccably balanced."
