Michele Chiarlo is a producer in the northern Italian region of Piedmont, specializing in wines from its best-known sub-regions. For decades, Michele Chiarlo has worked tenaciously in the vineyards and cellar to consistently elevate the DOC and DOCG wines of the Langhe and Monferrato. Curiosity for the new, combined with a desire to highlight the great potential of the lands, have driven him to experiment for years with new blends between grapes of great lineage, resulting in a wine whose opulence, complexity and delicacy have won him over. Countacc! comes from the ancient Piedmontese expression used to indicate awe, wonder.
