Sauvignon - 2006 - Petrucco
This Petrucco Friulano deals with the no longer mentioned Tocai. It is produced by Lina and Paolo Petrucco in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC. A typical area for wine production with its gentle, sunny terraces. This area is also particularly suited to wine production because of its terroir: ponca of Eocene origin are stratified clays and calcareous marls. This wine has a yellow color with light golden reflections. The bouquet is definitely intense with notes of fruit such as golden apple but also of freshly mowed grass. In the mouth it has good depth with a hint of sweetness.
