The Médoc is a renowned wine region located in the northwest of France, along the left bank of the Gironde River. Famous for producing high-quality red wines, the Médoc is an integral part of the Bordeaux wine region. The gravelly and sandy soils, together with the moderate oceanic climate, favor the cultivation of classic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Médoc wines are known for their robust structure, aromatic complexity and excellent aging. This Chateau dates back to before the French Revolution. The vineyard is spread over gentle slopes with various orientations. Equipped with a modern winery, the château nevertheless vinifies all its wines according to traditional methods. The wine is rich, soft, smooth and develops round, generous and fruity flavors.
