Red of great structure and elegance from long aging. The "Vigna Monticchio" is located on the hill of Brufa at 300 meters above sea level with west-southwest exposure and has an area of 15 hectares of which only 10 have been used to produce Rubesco Riserva "Vigna Monticchio." It is of lacustrine origin and has considerable pedological variability: clayey bangs alternate with sandy bangs, the latter more frequent in the lowest part of the vineyard. It leaves intense notes of sour cherry, small red fruits, licorice, cinnamon and a mineral background of refined elegance.Right fromtheattack it appears powerful, with great concentration and releases a clear call of red jam,closingin a finish with particularly persistent tannin.
