Maison Cazes has been creating naturally sweet wines with complex aromas for more than 100 years with unmatched mastery. It uses Muscat of Alexandria and Muscat à Petits Grains grape varieties. The 220-hectare vineyard is located among the Agly terraces in the villages of Rivesaltes and Salses-le-Château, with clay soils. Vinification includes direct pressing and fermentation at 18°, with mutation in the liquid phase. Bottling takes place within 6 months of harvest, and the wines are stored in climate-controlled cellars. On tasting, there is a floral nose that evolves toward ripe citrus and exotic fruits, with a fresh menthol and slightly spicy finish.
