Chianti Classico D.O.C.G. "Il Campino" 2019 is composed of 90 percent Sangiovese and 10 percent Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera and Colorino. Cultivated with a spurred and upside-down cordon system, the grapes are harvested by hand in September. Vinification takes place in 10 hl stainless steel vats for about 20 days, followed by maturation for 7 months in stainless steel and 12 months in 225-liter oak barrels. This wine has a dark red color tending toward garnet and aromas of spices and berries. It is the winery's only wine produced in 2019, the result of careful grape selection.
