Barolo "Me.G.A. Mosconi" - 2019 - Famiglia Anselma
Barolo Me.G.A. MOSCONI D.O.C.G. is a fine wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards, located in the MOSCONI Additional Geographical Mention in the commune of Monforte, cover an area of 2.11 hectares with an average age of 38 years. Vinification is by spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts for 4-5 weeks in steel, followed by a minimum of 2 years aging in large Slavonian oak barrels in underground cellars in Barolo. The wine is released to the market 4 years after the harvest. With an annual production of 6,800 bottles, it has a distinct aroma of red berries, tobacco and mushrooms, and a complex palate with notes of walnut, cocoa and a marked minerality. The finish is persistent and spicy.
