Coste di Rose is a prestigious east-facing hillside in the municipality of Barolo, with a slope of over 40 percent that favors optimal ripening of Nebbiolo grapes. The soil, from the Serravallian period, is rich in quartz sand and very fine silt, with an average amount of limestone and fossil shells visible. These characteristics give the Nebbiolo intense and fine aromas, with hints of wild mint. The wine has a ruby red color tending to garnet, with an intense bouquet of rose, licorice, spices and herbs, especially wild mint. On the palate, it is full and elegant, with good body, balance and harmony, offering an immediately pleasant Barolo.
