The Langhe, a historic Piedmont region located between the provinces of Cuneo and Asti, is characterized by a broad hill system bounded by the Tanaro, Belbo, Bormida di Millesimo and Bormida di Spigno rivers. This hilly territory has always been ideal for viticulture, thanks to the particular composition of the marly limestone soil and the favorable climatic exposure. The soil and climate are the two key elements that have created perfect hydrogeological conditions for growing the great Piedmontese grape varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Moscato.
