The fourth edition of APPIUS, created by Hans Terzer, maintains the principles of excellence and precision in grape selection and cellar processing. 2013, a year marked by a late harvest, yielded a wine with lively acidity, pronounced fruit and intense aromas. The cuvée is dominated by Chardonnay, accompanied by Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Blanc. The result is a complex wine with aromas of exotic fruits such as pineapple, papaya and passion fruit, enriched by notes of Williams pear, apple and floral nuances. On the palate, it is dense, creamy and mineral, with an extraordinarily long finish. Straw yellow in color with greenish highlights, the 2013 APPIUS is an elegant, refined and complex white wine, capable of further improvement with time, promising exceptional tasting experiences even after many years.
