Ca' Florian represents the heart of Tommasi, the vineyard of origin and the place the family has called home since 1902. This fine Amarone celebrates the family's humble beginnings, located next to grandfather Giacomo's house and the family's first vineyards. Traditions are preserved here, from the "marogne," terraced dry-stone masonry vineyards, to the "arele," bamboo trellises for drying the grapes. With less than 9,000 bottles produced each vintage, Ca' Florian expresses simplicity and elegance. The wine has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, cherry, blackberry and plum, with nuances of licorice and bitter cocoa. The palate is full-bodied and austere, with enveloping tannins and a fresh, lingering finish
