Cladrecis is a hamlet in the municipality of Prepotto, on the border of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC area, where the Sirch brothers have started a project to restore ancient vineyards. The vineyards, located on hills surrounded by centuries-old forests, yield wines of great territorial expression. Rosso Cladrecis, a Bordeaux blend, combines Merlot and Pignolo, providing structure, elegance and spicy notes. On the nose, it expresses blueberry jam, underbrush, medicinal herbs and minerality. In the mouth, it is vigorous and harmonious. The blend varies each vintage, alternating Refosco dal peduncolo rosso and Cabernet, but the Merlot and Pignolo remain constant, enhancing the wine's balance and refinement.
