Domaine de la Mordorée produces some of the greatest wines in the Rhone Valley: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Tavel. The philosophy has always been to produce the best wines possible. For this, the best soils have been selected and cultivation methods that truly respect the environment have been adopted. The winemaking and aging of the wines combine tradition and modernity. The set goal was simple: to produce the best wine in each of the appellations while respecting nature and people. Passionate and in love with the marvelous bird that is the woodcock, they chose its "poetic" nickname to christen the domain "La Mordorée"; two other nicknames: La Dame Rousse and La Reine des Bois symbolize the names of their two cuvées.
