Chianti Classico - 2021 - Vallepicciola
This Chianti Classico is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, a variety that represents this appellation in the world. It comes from the vineyards of Vallepicciola in Castelnuovo Berardenga, located between 380 and 440 meters above sea level, and grows on limestone and clay soils with the presence of marl and alberese. Harvesting takes place in the second half of September, with a yield of 65 quintals per hectare. The training system is spurred cordon. The wine is a pale ruby red and the nose offers aromas of red forest fruits, plums, violets and a typical spice of black pepper.
