Chianti Classico - 2021 - Livernano
The winery in Casalvento, Chianti Classico, was purchased by Robert and Gudrun Cuillo in 1997 and, together with Livernano (purchased in 2002), has formed a single entity since 2013. Livernano is an organic farm that produces high quality wines, olive oil, honey, vegetables and fruit. With 25 hectares of vineyards planted with nine grape varieties and 1,000 olive trees, the property is surrounded by 60 hectares of woods. The state-of-the-art winery is built in harmony with the landscape. Modern cultivation and winemaking techniques, along with careful selection of vines, ensure low yields but high quality. The winery has been in organic conversion since 2015.
