Brunello di Montalcino - 2018 - Podere Brizio
Podere Brizio's Brunello di Montalcino comes from the hills (330-350 m. above sea level) around the famous village of Montalcino. It is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes that are vinified with spontaneous fermentation. Aging takes place in large French oak barrels for about 38 months and ends with at least 6 months in the bottle. The wine presents itself in the glass with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose reveals hints of berries, blueberry, black currant, licorice. balsamic notes.
