Bersano's Barolo DOCG Badarina Riserva is an elegant and structured wine made with Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba. Grown on limestone-clay soils, this Barolo is harvested by hand and vinified with prolonged maceration in temperature-controlled steel, followed by aging for at least 60 months in oak barrels, tonneaux and bottle. It has a deep red color with garnet highlights and a complex bouquet with notes of cocoa, mint, black cherries and leather. On the palate it is harmonious, persistent and full-bodied, ideal paired with game, roasts, truffles, mushrooms and savory cheeses. Perfect to serve at 16-18°C, it has a longevity of more than 20 years.
