This wine taken from a batch of 2000 bottles bottled in the Produttori del Barbaresco - Italy winery was selected in the spring of 1994 by the master tasters of the Order of the Knights of Truffles and Wines of Alba
Barbaresco D.O.C.G., produced since 1958, is an icon of quality and typicality, the fruit of 100% Nebbiolo grapes from several vineyards in the area of origin. Grown on clay-limestone soils with sandy veins, it undergoes fermentation in stainless steel at 28°C with 24 days of maceration on the skins and daily pumping over, completing malolactic fermentation. Aged in large 50 hl oak barrels and bottled in March, it pairs perfectly with egg pastas and white and red meat dishes.
