Barbaresco "San Giuliano" - 2021 - Paolo Manzone
The house and vineyards located in Serralunga's Cru Meriame have been in Luisella's family for generations. Although the grapes were sold to a local cooperative, Paolo always dreamed of making his own wine in the vineyards. The winery, located between the Baudana and Lazzarito crus, is in a south-southwest facing amphitheater, completely in the "Meriame" cru. Grapes are processed and harvested by hand to ensure quality, and vinification is done with great care, using slow fermentation in steel. Aging and winemaking respect tradition, enhancing the unique characteristics of the grapes.
