Tenuta Tignanello, located in the heart of Chianti Classico, covers 319 hectares, 130 of which are vineyards, between the Greve and Pesa valleys. Its two main vineyards, Tignanello and Solaia, are located on the same hill, characterized by soils of Pliocene origin with limestone and schist. Ideal climatic conditions, with warm days and cool nights, favor vine growth. The vineyards produce the famous Solaia and Tignanello wines, considered among the most influential in the history of Italian wine. Varieties grown include native Sangiovese, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
