Terrazas de los Andes grows its grapes at the ideal altitude for each variety, maximizing aromas and flavors in its wines. The "Finca Las Compuertas" vineyard, located 1,067 meters above sea level in Vistalba, Mendoza, is home to 1929 vines descended from Bordeaux clones introduced in the 19th century by Michel Pouget. The passion of the winemaking team, combined with the natural advantages of high-altitude vineyards, allows them to preserve the unique characteristics of Malbec. Afincado Malbec is born in this unique location, with permeable and sand-free soil, irrigated by traditional canals fed by the snows of the Andes. The wine is distinguished by its dark red color with purple hues, a complex bouquet of black cherries, dried plums, caramel and smoky notes, and a structured palate with powerful tannins and floral notes.
