Pinot Gris Cuvee Christine - 2005 - Gruss
Coming from Alsace, in the village of Eguisheim, the vineyards follow the rules of organic farming, avoiding chemicals, practicing grassing and using only organic fertilizers. Of a light straw yellow with greenish reflections, it presents a pungent and delicate olfactory bouquet, with floral and citrus notes, such as grapefruit. On the palate it is dry and elegant, confirming the fruity scents and revealing a beautiful minerality in the refined finish. Produced with hand-picked grapes, fermented in steel and traditionally vinified in old oak barrels, it matures on the fine lees.
