Cantina Santadi, also known as Cantina di Santadi, is a wine producer based in the southwest of Sardinia, located approximately 60 km (40 mi) west of Cagliari, the main city on the Italian island. The estate extends over several vineyards covering an area of approximately 3000 hectares (7413 acres) in the Sulcis Inferiore region. This coastal area is characterized by a variety of landscapes and soils typically composed of sand, clay and limestone. The Cargignano del Sulcis wine, produced by the Cantina, has a deep ruby color enriched by slightly garnet hues. Its complex and refined aroma evokes notes of plums, blueberries, sweet spices, bay leaves, juniper, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, it stands out for its richness, softness and enveloping, with pleasant fruity and spicy notes, supported by elegantly structured tannins.
