Barbaresco "Asili" is a prestigious wine obtained from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Asili vineyard, in the municipality of Barbaresco. The first vintage dates back to 1996 and the vineyard extends for about 1 hectare on calcareous soils with south/southwest exposure at 250 meters above sea level. The vinification takes place with fermentation on the skins for 17-18 days in oak vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. The refinement lasts at least two years, with 18 months in large oak barrels. On the nose it is elegant, with notes of violet and spices, while on the palate it is broad, silky and of surprising length.
