The first to fully understand and enhance the winemaking potential of the estate was Princess Eleonora Ruspoli Berlingieri, who began bottling Lilliano wines in 1958, although she had been present in the area since the early 1900s. This wine is very intense on the nose with a predominant floral note, particularly violet, typical of Sangiovese, and has a bright ruby red color with a tendency to light garnet nuances. Its flavor emerges immediately upon tasting, an excellent relationship between structure, tannin and freshness of flavor. A good acidity prolongs the sip, enhancing its flavor.
