Chianti Classico "I Bastioni" - 2021 - Collazzi
"Bastioni" combines the elegance of Sangiovese with the roundness and complexity of Merlot and Malvasia Nera, creating a succulent wine with ripe tannins and character. The vineyards, located a few kilometers from the winery in San Casciano in Chianti Classico, extend over 7 hectares of skeletal and well-drained soil, and the grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats and aging lasts 12 months in barriques, giving the wine grace and flavor. "Bastioni" is distinguished by its bouquet of red fruit and cherry, and by its dense and ripe tannins. The first year of production is 2002.
