Chianti Classico - 2019 - The Campino
The Chianti Classico DOCG "Il Campino" 2019 is composed of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera and Colorino. Cultivated with the spurred and inverted cordon system, the grapes are harvested manually in September. The vinification takes place in 10 hl stainless steel vats for about 20 days, followed by 7 months of maturation in stainless steel and 12 months in 225-liter oak barrels. This wine has a dark red color tending toward garnet and aromas of spices and berries. It is the only wine of the company produced in 2019, the result of a careful selection of the grapes.
