We are in the province of Siena, in the Chianti Classico area, and it is here that we meet the winery of the same name of "Stomennano", currently belonging to Matteo Lupi Grassi, the latter supported in the cellar by the oenologist Lorenzo Landi and in the vineyard by the agronomist Attilio Persia, and above all descendant of an ancient Sienese family whose traces date back to the Middle Ages, for over two and a half centuries settled in Stomennano. From the vineyard to the cellar the attentions are always the same, for which each production step is meticulously monitored with the utmost care: the fermentation is carried out in steel at a controlled temperature, with a long maceration on the skins for the red wines, while the aging is carried out in French oak barriques or large barrels, with the exception of the white wines which instead complete the refinement in steel. This is how the labels of the Stomennano winery are born.
