Brunello di Montalcino, produced with Sangiovese Grosso, known locally as Brunello, is the symbol of the region's winemaking excellence. Brunello di Ruffino, from the Tenuta Greppone Mazzi in Montalcino, represents a centuries-old tradition. The grapes grow at altitudes between 210 and 460 meters on hilly soils of clay and silt composition, rich in skeleton. The wine is distinguished by a complex bouquet of fruit such as plum, blackcurrant and cherry in alcohol, enriched by notes of sweet tobacco and chocolate. On the palate it is rich and harmonious, with a perfect combination of freshness and velvety tannins. The spicy notes and overall elegance make it a persistent and refined wine.
