Barolo Mirafiore follows the tradition of blending wines from different vineyards, with the selection varying depending on the vintage. The blending takes place immediately after malolactic fermentation. The long maceration and limited racking during the aging favor the development of tertiary aromas even before bottling. The wine has an intense garnet red color and a complex aroma of spices such as nutmeg, bay leaves, black pepper, ripe red fruit and black licorice. On the palate, it is an important wine with powerful and harmonious tannins, and an acidic freshness that contributes to a very long finish.
