Giovanni Sordo's Barolo is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes from the vineyards of Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, Barolo, Novello, La Morra, Verduno and Grinzane Cavour. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300-400 meters with a south-southwest exposure. The soil is composed of compact calcareous marl, rich in microelements. The wine has a garnet red color with orange hues that become more intense with time. The aromas are ethereal, intense and persistent. On the palate it is warm, full and complex, with sweet and harmonious tannins that enhance its austerity.
