Chianti Classico Gran Selezione - 2019 - Tenuta di Lilliano
The Tuscan Chianti Classic Gran Selezione of the Lilliano Estate is the product of vines grown on limestone-clay soils and is the result of the winemaking Of Colorino (5 percent), Merlot (5 percent) and Sangiovese (90 percent) grapes. This wine comes from hand-picked grapes that after crushing are fermented in small steel tanks at a controlled temperature, then once the wine reaches its alcoholic maturity, it is aged for a period of at least 15 months partly inside a large barrel and partly inside oak tonneaux. After that for a minimum period of 6 months follows the phase of refinement bottled.
