Chianti Classico "Belcanto" - 2018 - Nittardi
The history of this winery originated in the 16th century in the heart of Chianti Classico, in the hills on the border between the provinces of Florence and Siena. Since 1981 Nittardi has been run by Peter Femfert and his wife, the Venetian-born historian Stefania Canali. This splendid classic wine, is made entirely from grapes grown in our vineyards in the commune of Castellina in Chianti. Its violet-red color is accompanied by juicy hints of cherry and raspberry on the nose with light hints of Mediterranean scrub and floral notes. Medium-bodied with crisp tannins on the palate and a fresh, long finish.
