Château d'Arcins has one of the first Haut-Médoc vineyards developed in the 1300s by the Templar Commandery. For aging, more than 1,500 new oak barrels, renewed by a third each year, hold the wine for 12 months. The farming method as well as the clay-gravel soil allow for the best of an exceptional terroir, reminiscent of that of neighboring appellations, particularly Moulis.
