Brunello di Montalcino Riserva - 2017 - Carpineto
The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2017 Carpineto, obtained from a vintage that tends to be critical, however, comes out well from the glass test, offering aromas marked by the sweetness of raspberry, ripe cherry returns, and spicy touches to finish. In the mouth, the sip is clean, dense and pulpy, with tight tannins and pleasantly crisp finish, still on fruity and spicy returns. It has 11 hectares of vineyards, 3.5 of which are planted to Brunello, and is cultivated at a high altitude (an average of 500 meters above sea level), in an area that looks closely at Montalcino from the west. The Carpineto winery, on the other hand, was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo and now boasts several properties: in Dudda (Greve in Chianti), in Gaville (Alto Valdarno), in Gavorrano in Maremma and in Montepulciano, for a total of more than 500 hectares of vineyards and a production of 3,000,000 bottles.
