Marchesi di Barolo is an Italian winery in Piedmont, particularly known for its single-vineyard and Riserva wines from Nebbiolo grapes. The estate was founded in the early 1800s when the Marquis of Barolo married French noblewoman Juliette Colbert. She gave the impetus for the development of the estate that bore her husband's name. Five generations of the Abbona family have now owned and managed the estate.
